In Ft Wayne for the holiday to see my family. Went to Big Eyed and got the 3 fish combo with a baked potato and hush puppies. First off, the tartar sauce is heavenly. Usually tartar sauce is tart and you can taste the mayo. This tartar sauce is well mixed and has a slight sweet flavor. This compliments the battered shrimp very well. So let's talk about the fish now. I got 3 very large battered pieces. You definitely get your money's worth. The breading was robust and fish was boneless and flavorful. Fried but not greasy. I also had the baked potato with butter and sour cream. It could have used some cheese but it was a good side. There is a lot of seating and it was decorated for the holidays. The service was also spectacular. While the restaurant is nothing fancy it should be on your list for come-as-you-are dining. A must try in Ft. Wayne.

Really good fish, and believe me when I say that because I'm not a usual fish eater, love the tarter sauce, service is usually very good, very busy place, always full house. Although I don't care for the parking out back it is tight and small but we come here every month sometimes twice a month, love it,

Always have a great experience with this place. The staff is friendly, attentive and efficient. Everything on the menu is great. It's a place you wouldn't expect to have great food. Highly recommend this place.

Good fish and wings, sadly no wing specials

Absolutely wonderful food. Everything tastes like it came from your Grandma's kitchen. Only complaint would be the decor inside leaves a bit to be desired.

Went for lunch and had yellowfin tuna and the wife had their fried fish. Great meals and great prices. Will definitely return (tonight with the kids :) )

Best fish in the city! We had the broiled haddock with cajun seasoning as well as the fried haddock. Never had better! But that's the best. Now they need to improve the ambiance, parking, sides, beer selection, restrooms, location! Would love to see this place on the northeast side of town.

Been going here for years...Maybe a little dive bar and unhealthy ...But we all gotta go sometime...May as well have the BEST fish in town...Try the place ..parking in back is kind of tight but it is worth the effort....

Great fish and great value! Kids meals are a super deal and my burger-loving son thinks their's is one of the best. Great hush puppies and coleslaw. Kinda divey, but a true diamond in the rough!

I've driven by this location countless times, but not really being a "fish person", I never stopped in. Then yesterday I went with a friend and am still kicking myself for not visiting sooner!! This is THE classic home-town bar and grill that serves up fantastic food for extremely reasonable prices. Service is great, food is outstanding. Now if you want uppity atmosphere for that elegant dining experience - just drive on by. But for the rest of us, this place is GREAT! There is off-street parking in back (along with a rear entrance). Definitely worth going out of your way just north of downtown.

Best breakfast in the Fort Wayne area

Excellent dive bar for fried fish and other bad-for-you goodness. Dinner for 2 with 2 beers is under $30, and for that you get full-on, tuba music serenade, greasy stuffed to the gills full. Their fish-fry batter is really unique and IMO delightful. Decor is divey, and the surrounding area is rather sketchy, but thats usually where you find good fried fish. They have a jukebox. This is a pretty good place to take kids, as on Saturday night there is a magician trolling the booths doing tricks and balloon animals. He seemed rather sketchy himself, but he is a magician, not a babysitter and the place is well-lit. Just use your brain and dont take him up on any offers for free candy and or help him to move a couch into his panel van.
